Skin Institute Queenstown fitout

We fitted out a new clinic for the Skin Institute in Queenstown, refurbishing a former retail bank at Remarkables Park Town Centre to accommodate clinical spaces, offices, bathrooms, a staffroom, reception and waiting areas, plus two sub-tenancies for future occupation.

We worked with the client and consultants before we started on site, helping them to align the design with their budget. Our in-house engineer also completed the structural seismic design, expediting elements of the design process that may otherwise have caused delays.

We built the 12 clinical spaces to medical standards, including body protected electrical works, hygienic surfaces, and medical grade joinery and benchtops. A high standard of finish on bespoke joinery items such as architectural timber screens, an angled reception counter and solid core timber veneer doors ensures that the fitout is as beautiful as it is functional.

With live tenancies surrounding the site, we scheduled noisy work to occur out of hours. We ran new plumbing services through the store downstairs, carefully coordinating with the retailer as their stock needed to be moved multiple times to accommodate the service routes.

Our team worked to tight schedule and a tight budget to deliver the client’s vision, completely transforming the space.
